Time is just getting away

My boy is now 8 months old and just delightful. He is so determined yet so gentle and smells like a summer breeze. A recent trip to Bells Beach introduced him to the ocean for the first time and he just loved it. The photo shows him playing in the sand.
I have been busy and haven't scrapped much except for dabbling digitally. I have attached a digi lo of Ty the day his mum caught him standing in the cot for the first time. The papers and elements are Kirky's Kreations and Scrapbook Answers Oct CD.

Wow life has been busy for us this last few weeks. Kirsty had a beautiful baby boy on March 22nd. He is the most delightful little man and has his Grams and Grumps in love. He has Kirsty's nose and lips and Ray's ears and is a very good baby. I am delighted to be a grandmother and love when they come to visit. We are also Calving this week which keeps us very busy indeed. So far we have had 1 live calf and 2 still born. One of the cows is down so it's out to the paddock every few hours to turn her over and give her a drink. I think she will be up and about today or tomorrow. In between this I flew to Dubbo last week for a wedding and had a ball. I drove home with my SIL and we had a great trip. We visited the Zoo and Parkes Telescope on the trip. We made it as far south as Grong Grong and decided to stay the night - so for those of you who have wondered if any one would ever stay at the Grong Grong motel - I HAVE! It was clean and the restaurant has some of the best Indian food I have ever tasted. We arrived yesterday a little stiff and sore and very happy to be home. Only three more days of holidays and then it's back to work.

Waiting for TJ

Well it's been a very long week. Kirsty went into labour early Monday morning which meant a drive to Bendigo following the ambulance and two very long days. I spent my 45th birthday in a labour ward watching my baby trying to have a baby . As she was only 35 weeks they stopped the labour, reassured themselves that bub was ok and allowed her to come home today. It was such a relief to have her home again. The current plan is a trip for assessment Tuesday and bub will be bought on around the 21st. Irish I know - stop the labour so they can bring her on - but she is Diabetic and cant go full term. Keep the fingers crossed I will keep you all updated
hugs H

I am 44 years old, have a small hobby farm with my hubby, teach scrapbooking, have a small scrapbook design business, am about to start a new phase in my career, go back to Uni for further study and become a granny for the first time.
