Still having a great time and so far have managed to find GOOD food places to eat. We have found 2 awesome steakhouses, a great fish grill all with great edible food and even managed to get a reasonable breaky today. The show is awesome - so much to see it is mind boggling. The companies have gone all out in their displays and we spend as much time oohing and ahhing over them as their products.
Here are a couple of sneak peaks to wet your appetite.........

Up Up and Away
We're leaving on a jet plane ...... all packed and ready to head to Melbourne tonight ready for our 9am flight tomorrow. Just waiting for Chas to get home and we are going out to lunch .... I think he's going to miss me lol. Kaz will pick me up around six and we'll stay overnight, then fly out in the morning. I'm really excited now, worried my case is too heavy all ready but thinks there is still enough room to bring some goodies home. I packed and repacked half a dozen times .... culling with each repack so I think I have everything I need and no extra stuff.
Really looking forward to the classes and make and takes and Kaz's sneak peaks over at the Hobbysew Echuca blog are wetting my appetite for all things scrapping, haven't scrapped for a couple of weeks and can't wait to get back into it.
Will post again when we land
Happy scrapping H

Bargain Hunting at Fryerstown Antiques Fair
Chas and I had a great day bargain hunting at Fryerstown. There were loads of antiques but it also had it's fair share of junk. But as always it was a great day out. I found a cute trike for Kaz to use as a prop in the shop and we found our new travel companion "dog".
Dog will be traveling with us to Tassie next month - couldn't quite face a trip without something on the dash - at least that way if we aren't talking to each other we can talk to dog.
We started the day with a beautiful sunrise towards Rochester which set the scene for a great day.
I got the best bargain - a hardly used Nikkon Coolpix Camera - complete with case, manual, cords, CD and battery charger. I was stoked now I wont need to take Chas's camera with me to LA. It even does video and voice tagging ......$40...... BARGAIN!

Only 16 days to go ...
..... . and my packing cubes have arrived. They are awesome, you can fit so much in. I especially LOVE the Pac It Folder, it makes you fold things so neatly. In fact I plan to use the system to sort my wardrobe. I love them so much I ordered another set for Chas, no more messy suitcases after Chas attempts to find something. Just praying the dollar stays strong for a couple more weeks.

I love my life
Less than 3 weeks to CHA and we are almost organised ........
Tickets - check,
Cash - check
Passports visa waiver - check
Classes and seminars booked - check
Accomodation booked - check
Airport shuttles booked - checked
Packed - hell NO can't even decide what to pack, it will need to be layering as two different temperatures in LA and San Fran.
I'm waiting for my Eagle Creek packing cubes to arrive so I can practice packing and I reckon I'm going to get tons of practice. We fly in from LA on the 7th and Chas and I are heading to Tasmania and Bruny Island on the 8th for a week as he has got two unexpected weeks off and we don't want to waste them.
We will be taking my car on the boat this time - I crunched the numbers and it's $500 cheaper than flying and hiring a car - BUT this time we will be getting a cabin. The worst night of my life was spent on that bloody boat with airline seating - DON'T do it EVER!!!!! I have booked the boat cabin over and day sale home and I'm really excited. I have booked a room at the pub on Bruny and we will be doing an ecco boat tour and will see dolphins, seals, penguins and maybe even a whale. We will spend the night in Melbourne and do the Eureka Tower Edge experience before we come home - well Chas will I'm still thinking about whether I am brave enough.
