Free Step by Step Tutorial No 3 - one for the boys by Aussiechick.

I saw this layout in the Bella Boulevard catalog and fell in love. I used the Bo Bunny Blast off range to scrap lift the design by Sheri Feypel.

First cut a centre mat from the Reverse side UFO then ink in brown ink - I used Impress Fawn - and adhere to white cardstock.
Then cut a strip of the reverse side of Steller and adhere from the right  white edge
Next cut a strip of Stripe and adhere to the right side
Finally tear a strip - both sides with the white showing and adhere across the page.

Next cut a large rectangle of the reverse of Galaxy and ink in blue - I used Tim Holtz faded Jeans distress ink and place over strips.

Next mat your photo in white card and adhere and embellish as desired. I used some red white and blue buttons, some acetate stars, some red  magic mesh and the Bo Bunny Blast off sticker pack. I then used my journal pen to "stitch" around the edge of the UFO mat. Finally using cream alpha stickers and a white journal mat matted in red I added the title.

Come scrap with me .... Free Step by step tutorial number two from Aussiechick.

It's time for another step by step tutorial.....
My mojo is buzzing at the moment I am finding inspiration EVERYWHERE and I have so much CHA winter stash that my head is spinning so I thought I'd share the love with this cute layout using MME Gertie range  ....

Step one - I was inspired by a layout in the Bella Boulevard catalog, I loved the sketch design and knew it would be perfect for Stella and Rose.

First I gathered my STELLA & ROSE Gertie papers by My Minds Eye

Ink the edges of the You and Me Numbers
Use a scallop edge cutter to frame it in chocolate cardstock and adhere to Girly Diamonds.

Cut a flag shape from Delightful Sweet Stripe and mat in red card and ink. I used Tim Holtz Ranger  Frayed burlap distress ink.

Next lay a strip of the You and Me Numbers reverse side to the bottom left corner.

Next cut a rectangle of Girly Lace and mat in a piece of Scalloped pink card.

Next cut a strip of scalloped chocolate card and the reverse Delightful Sweet Stripe paper and adhere at the base of the flag. Then cut a small strip of Friends Forever Tapestry and place in the top left corner.

Next adhere the love "envelope" to the left center and embellish as desired. I used Gertie chipboard stickers, Prima Chipboard stickers and some old Hot off the Press acetate words along with a couple of tags that I have spritzed and place sticker on.

Who me?

Our family of owls bought their new babies to see us today. Every year when they nest they bring their new chicks down to the house yard for us to inspect. They usually ignore us and allow us to get very close to them to take photos, they don't even worry about the cats, the beam they are perched on is above the shed cats bed and feed area.

Baby Saurus and Tiny Princess are the cutest papers around .....

I bought the growth chart not long after we got home from CHA with this paper range in mind.

It was so cute I couldn't stop playing so I did a couple of  layouts of Alex  from the Baby Saurus range.

My mojo was buzzing and I just  had to play with the Tiny Princess so I covered a lamp shade with three mini layouts then made cards with the leftovers.

A few new layouts to share

I love this one scraplifted from Scrapbook.com's Rachie Babe. As usual I didn't have everything so out came the trusty Pazzle and I designed and cut the letterbox, bricks, hinges and cogs.

The new Hattie papers were perfect for the pics of Alex playing in the dirt at Miss Janes

I love this one of Ty out at Jane and Brian's last weekend using Bo Bunny Ad Lib

country boys

my grandsons truly are country boys, there is nothing they like more than playing outside in the dirt. We went to visit with Jane and Brian on the weekend and Alex was fascinated with a pile of sticks and leaves on the creek bank. He sat quietly playing for about half an hour totally engrossed in his little pile.
