Wow it's been hectic lately. So much has happend since we got back from Chinchilla. Studio H is almost completed, the main move of furniture has occured, just three more cubes to build and then about a thousand boxes of scrap stuff to fit into them and it is done. I love the space in the new area and the natural light is fantastic. Photos soon when it's all completed. The kids are growing Alex just turned 3 in Spetember, I'll post photos soon from his party. I've just finished Creative Chemistry 101 with Tim Holtz and have LOVED playing with all of my stash and exploring new ways to create with it. I haven't taken a lot of photos lately as my flash unit died and my camera has been away getting rebuilt so that's one of the reasons the blog has been a bit quiet. Kaz and I are planning a trip to LA gain in January for CHA Winter - can't wait some serious shopping to be done and not just for scrap stash. It's Melbourne cup day so after a quick sleep this morning I'm off to our cup day luncheon.
Happy scrapping will post again soon

time flies
Well the holiday has come and almost gone. We had a great time in Queensland catching up with family. The XR6 we hired was awesome and made for a very comfortable trip.
We had a great time at Tu Lagoons with my sister and her family. We arrived a couple of days before the PQ Ball so it gave me plenty of girly time ops with Colleen and Molly while Chas spent time in the shed with Stretch and Bryce.
Tu Lagoons is beautiful even in winter there are plenty of flowers and cute animals to keep us amused. I baggsed the job to feed Apricot the poddy goat her bottle while while Molly fed the cow and horses.

Holiday time ....
It's that time of year again, frosty mornings, cold days and freezing nights and time for our annual road trip. We are mixing it up and combining it with a flight to the Gold Coast then road tripping out to Chinchilla for a few days. We have hired a falcon XR6 this time - so over the mini hire car thing and we are looking forward to cruising up the highway in comfort. Well it's off to start packing so stay tuned for plenty of pics along the way.

Technique Overload with Tim Holtz
Wow what a day we had in Sydney. It was a whirlwind trip landing in Sydney at 8.30pm Sunday and back in Mebourne by 8.30pm Monday. We were up and ready to go early, I was so excited when we got to the classroom to find a Ranger Apron (I love aprons), Kaz was more excited over all the Ranger and Tim Holtz goodies on the table.
We then were head down and into it - no coffee stops - all play. Tim is an engaging educator so it wasn't all work and no play, we had plenty of laughs along the way.
I was just as thrilled to meet Mario as I was Tim. Mario is the man behind the scenes and keeps us up to date on facebook with all of Tim's activities.
Tim and Mario happily signed autographs and there were lots of photo ops throughout the day. All in all a fabulous workshop and thanks to Ranger and Stamp It we got to bring our box of Ranger Goodness home as a gift.

Quick check in ....
Life has been very busy and I haven't had much of a chance to blog lately. Both Chas and I have been unwell on and off and very busy at work.
Scrap wise I attended Trisha Ladouceur's Artsy Adventure classes and loved both of the projects, promise to post pics of the finished projects soon. I've also invented a really cool rusting technique which I promise to do a tutorial on soon. I have also been making my own washi tape - wow I'm adicted I love the stuff, I've also made a really cute binder to hold thm in.
Kaz and I are very excited we are off to Sydney on Sunday to attend an all day workshop with Tim Holtz, so life hasn't really slowed down.
Happy scrapping will post pics soon.

OMG he is six already
My little man is 6, it just seems like yesterday that we bought him home and now he really is a little man. Kirsty had a party at one of the local parks and he clearly had a great time.

a day to remember |
Wow it's been a busy couple of months ...
My project at work has really begun to take off and is keeping me busy, Kaz and I have been away to become Copic Certified, Ty has turned 6 and generally it's been hectic and I haven't had much blogging time .
We had a fun weekend away getting our Copic certification, really who would think colouring in could be so complex. By the end of the weekend we were blending and feathering like pros.
It wasn't all work though we had dinner in China town Friday night and headed to Lygon street Saturday night.

Prima Heaven
The new Prima arrived in store last week and I was itching for the weekend so I could play.
Natures Garden was perfect for the self portrait I took just after my 50th Birthday.
Almanac was perfect for a photo I had of mt Aunty Marion as a young woman
And Songbirds pretty soft pastel tones were perfect for the photo of Jaxon in his cute blue cap
Thanks for looking
