My husband gave me a Pandora bracelet for Christmas last year and I have a few charms now thanks to birthdays and Christmas along with a couple I bought myself because i loved them. My wonderful girlfriends gave me a gift voucher to buy a charm from them and I was showing them my bracelet and we were talking about what my bracelet meant to me. Just like my charm bracelet that I started on my 16th birthday and my world travels charm bracelet started on our around the world trip a couple of years ago - my Pandora charms all actually represent a part of my life, past present and future. This got me thinking what charm could I get for "the girls", I decided a charm with some colour would be in order as they bring colour into my world. Then came the dilemma of what colour to chose. I chose the black forget me not charm as black is one of my favourite colours and would be neutral enough to go with everything.
So what does my Pandora mean to me ? ...........................
I bought this feeling groovy charm when my friend Gero was killed in a car accident and wear it on the black leather. The design reminded me of an interrupted circle.
Next was the love knot charm - given to me by my BFF Vicki Walker when Gero passed away - I bought her the exact same bead so we could always have a part of each other with us every day.
Kirsty, Ty and Alex gave me the two boy charms for Christmas representing my two beautiful grandsons.
Next came the girl which I bought in mothers day to represent Kirsty
Next was the cow charm representing our life on the farm given to me by Chas this Christmas
and the dangly heart representing Chas - I picked them he bought them
When I was in San Francisco I bought the witch - to represent me - I reckon I can be a real witch at times and I thought she was very cute.
I also bought a cable car charm to represent our trip to CHA and San Francisco
Next came the Panda for my 50th Birthday - Chas got the hint - the 50 Pandora books lying around the house finally sunk in and he went to the jeweler and chose the Panda - representing my teenage years as it was my nickname. Of all the charms circled it was the one I wanted most.
and lastly the bead that started this reflection the black onyx forget me not bead representing three very special friends, the black for the colour they bring to my life, the forget me not as I will never forget nor take for granted their friendship and the onyx for the strength of our friendship.
I hope your Pandora means as much to you.
