After an interesting night and a frosty morning in Hill End and a lovely morning exploring the township and local lookouts we headed back to Bathurst.
We went back via Sofala and it is the cutest town, narrow streets and charming buildings it was a great spot to stop for lunch.
We checked into the Kelso where we had stayed last time as there were no vacant motels in Bathurst due to a Veterans Hockey game on the weekend what the? We decided we had to drive to check out a town called Dunkeld a few k's out of town. We damn near missed it all it was was the two signs - no building no nothing.
We woke to find some low life had broken into the ute and taken our tray of change and all of our CD's. The worst part was the one in the player was the crappiest CG we owned. The owner was great and offered us a free nights accommodation, it could have been worse the guy two rooms up had his window smashed.
We headed to the mountain and did a few laps and revisited the National Motor Museum.
Prepare to be amazed!
