Technique Overload with Tim Holtz

Wow what a day we had in Sydney. It was a whirlwind trip landing in Sydney at 8.30pm Sunday and back in Mebourne by 8.30pm Monday. We were up and ready to go early, I was so excited when we got to the classroom to find a Ranger Apron (I love aprons), Kaz was more excited over all the Ranger and Tim Holtz goodies on the table.

We then were head down and into it - no coffee stops - all play. Tim is an engaging educator so it wasn't all work and no play, we had plenty of laughs along the way.

I was just as thrilled to meet Mario as I was Tim. Mario is the man behind the scenes and keeps us up  to date on facebook with all of Tim's activities.

Tim and Mario happily signed autographs and  there were lots of photo ops throughout the day. All in all a fabulous workshop and thanks to Ranger and Stamp It we got to bring our box of Ranger Goodness home as a gift.

Quick check in ....

Life has been very busy and I haven't had much of a chance to blog lately. Both Chas and I have been unwell on and off and very busy at work.
Scrap wise I attended Trisha Ladouceur's Artsy Adventure classes and loved both of the projects, promise to post pics of the finished projects soon. I've also invented a really cool rusting technique which I promise to do a tutorial on soon. I have also been making my own washi tape - wow I'm adicted I love the stuff, I've also made a really cute binder to hold thm in.
Kaz and I are very excited we are off to Sydney on Sunday to attend an all day workshop with Tim Holtz, so life hasn't really slowed down.
Happy scrapping will post pics soon.

OMG he is six already

My little man is 6, it just seems like yesterday that we bought him home and now he really is a little man. Kirsty had a party at one of the local parks and he clearly had a great time.

Wow it's been a busy couple of months ...

My project at work has really begun to take off and is keeping me busy, Kaz and I have been away to become Copic Certified, Ty has turned 6 and generally it's been hectic and I haven't had much blogging time .
We had a fun weekend away getting our Copic certification, really who would think colouring in could be so complex. By the end of the weekend we were blending and feathering like pros.
It wasn't all work though we had dinner in China town Friday night and headed to Lygon street Saturday night.

cruisin'

Spent Sunday arvo cruising along the Murray with good friends, as always a no stress day - threw some rolls a chook and some cold meat in the esky, along with a couple of simple salads, some chopped fruit and a lemon tart we had a feast fit for a king. There is nothing better  than having a couple of coldies with great mates. There were a few interesting sights along the way, and Jackie and I managed to get very wet bums while hanging our legs over the edge from the ski wake. We had a friend from New Zealand who was so excited to get to take a cruise along the river.
